BORUSSIA DORTMUND are closing in on Club Brugge attacker Ivan Perisic and he is set to be confirmed as Dortmund’s sixth new signing of the summer, according to KICKER.

The German champions have already secured the signatures of Ilkay Gundogan, Mortiz Leitner, Dimitar Rangelov, Julian Koch and Chris Löwe ahead of their defence of the title next season.

Croatian International Perisic has reportedly signed a five-year deal and both teams have agreed a fee around £4.5m.

He told SPORZA: “Everyone knows what Dortmund has – the fans, the Champions League, and they are German champions. It is the best choice for me.

“I have been a few times to the stadium and on every occasion when I entered, I felt something, something that you cannot forget.”

Sporting Director Michael Zorc is also aiming to bring 18-year-old Australian midfielder Mustafa Amini from Central Coast Mariners after impressing in a trial at Dortmund in March.
