SCHALKE 04 boss Ralf Rangnick is confident his side can win their fifth DFB Pokal against MSV Duisburg in Berlin this weekend.

The royal blues have had a poor domestic campaign, which caused Felix Magath to get the axe in April, but Rangnick believes his side can overcome a six-game losing streak to lift the trophy at full-time on Saturday.

He told KICKER: “”We have brought in recent weeks, our performance, and you have the opponent, like Bayern Munich and Manchester United, to take into account,

“We have no fear, we have the conviction that we win the game, at times when we will get our normal level.”

Schalke have a full strength squad to choose from and Rangnick thinks Raul has a big part to play in the final.

He said: “He is a player who can make the difference that we saw in the semifinals  He is one on which all other orientate in the game. ”

A win for Schalke tomorrow means they will participate in the UEFA Europa League next season.
