FC BAYERN are already planning ahead to next season after confirming Thomas Kraft, Andreas Ottl and Hamit Altintop will leave the club this summer.

Last season’s champions confirmed their place in the Champions League next season and could pip Leverkusen to an automatic position on the final matchday.

Thomas Kraft, who made 12 appearances this season, will join Bundesliga new-boys Hertha Berlin this summer in search for regular first-team football.

Sporting Director Christian Nerlinger told the club’s official website: “”Kraft’s understandable aim is to be number one. We can not guarantee it,”

28-year-old Turkish midfielder Hamit Altintop will end his four-year spell with FC Bayern and could be set for a move to Real Madrid following interest from Jose Mourinho.

FC Bayern also confirmed Andreas Ottl will leave the club in the summer and he has been linked with a move to Hertha Berlin.

These departures come after FC Bayern confirmed the signing of Energie Cottbus striker Nils Petersen who has scored 24 goals in 32 matches in the second division. Petersen could be the replacement for Miroslav Klose whose contract expires this summer.
